September 2009
Six months now I have worked for Maryland Environmental Service and I find that entering the real world (read: a normal full-time job) does not necessarily equal immediate realization of all my dreams and goals. I will continue to work towards them, namely: 1) finding a way to answer my calling to help the poorest, hungriest, thirstiest people on earth, 2) organizing my life so that I am free to do number 1, and 3) strengthening my faith and confidence to better accomplish number 1, again, and 4) really enjoying the traveling and socializing that accompanies number 1 while finding ways to do all the other earthly things I enjoy – photography, creating films, writing, and being outside.
REVISION!
As of March 2009 I have a job as (primarily) an Environmental Specialist, (then) museum educator, photographer, and ice cream scooper. No wonder I go to bed tired every night. Keep checking back for updates on my life.
REVISION!
As of May 2008 I am Lauren, B.A. graduate and I need a job! Thus begins my life outside of college and, lucky you, you’ll get to stay informed on what’s happening…which is nothing much, but if you love me, check in and comment!
REVISION!
School Year 07-08
I am a dj for Hood College’s Blazer Radio. This blog will be useful for the listeners of Lauren’s Weekly Themed Dance-A-Thon to help me create playlists and play what you want to hear! Every week will feature a different theme with no artist (per week) or song (per year) repeats! Check out stormyren.com as I update it weekly and comment!
REVISION!
Hey, this is Lauren, and I have this website up to sorta let you all know about my life in Paris this semester. I hope you enjoy the pictures, video, and mini-accounts of daily student life!
